Will 2 songs help each other or hurt. Vote below.

The Weeknd did basically the same thing with Heartless and Blinding Lights

Exactly thats why Drake won't drop any singles

That's a bold move. Scorpion singles did stupid numbers.

I'm thinking one will be Greece and the other one a hard ass banger, looking for two different crowds

When I actually think about it, I am so confused on why Drake is starting the album roll-out this way.

    1) If either (or both) songs go number 1, Drake will only be credited as a feature even though he did the whole songs essentially.

    2) Singles would chart as well (if not better) as purely Drake (not Khaled x Drake) singles.

TLDR: I don't get what value Khaled adds (even thoguh i like his character) and I certainly don't get why Drizzy threw him 2 two!) songs to start an album roll-out. Am I missing something obvious?

I don’t think drake is looking at this as β€œalbum rollout”.

If they are gods plan/one dance/summer anthem in general caliber then he could have 2 number 1’s rolling perfectly into an album rollout if the album is coming early august

I'm with you. But why release them as Khaled songs if they are "God's Plan/One Dance/IMF" tier songs?

Genuinely asking- sorry if its coming across rude.

Putting this out here he said the album would sounds more like when to say when/chicago freestyle. Maybe he wants to give the radio single to Khaled and focus on actually having a classic

It blows my mind that he wouldn’t put Chicago Freestyle or rather save it for a studio album

The money to market the song will come from Khaled. And Khaled will clearly OD on promo since it's a Drake feat.

Feel like Drake throws hits out there and more times than not leaves them be. It doesn't matter who is featured as long as Drake is attached to some heat.

Edit: I also don't think this is the start of his rollout.

    hmmmmm. The edit changes things.

You think this just the warm-up still? Album in winter?

I can't guess (mostly because I would want a real Views/Scorpion type rollout).
I just don't think he would attach his rollout to Khaled's like that.
