Idk man, it's different. A lot of 90s stuff is harder to listen to nowadays. That's what they mean by it didnt age well i guess
Illmatic doesnt have that for example. Easy listen still. RD kinda has that at times. HOV albums that came after aged way better. See the difference w The Blueprint. That's only 5 years
S*** is all relative and subjective
For me, nothing on RD has aged as bad as the Jigga That beat, and generally I think the golden era 90s hip hop aged better than late 90s early 2000s shiny suit bling era or whatever you wanna call it. Even most music from 2009-10 has aged much worse than early 90s music for me personally
Vol 3 aged really badly, the other volumes and BP2 also have their share of moments that feel really corny today. RD doesn’t really have that
None, I like a handful of Hov only, he too goofy in that time period for me
Reasonable Doubt is goofy y’all

They some messed up individuals man
One thing i don’t understand is why Khaled is literally obsessed with productions from Streetrunners (they produced like 8 joints on this album) and Tay Keith, I get they’re good producers but this album is lacking variety of sounds and after 3 albums 80% produced by the same dudes this is starting to sound stale.
I also don’t understand why on the title track he gave us verses from Ross and Wayne that last barely 50 seconds and a 4 minutes non stop jay z verse. Same thing for the 40 seconds Drake snippet. I’m not saying this album is trash but some things could have been executed better.
It's not mid, but i can see it being boring for new rap fans tbh
Top 5 hip hop album in Hip Hop
this jay song sounds so much like its from 10 years ago like everything abt it . wonder if thats intentional

Haven't heard the album yet but StreetRunner is a really underappreciated producer imho
The title track was definitely made to make Jay-Z's verse shine and I don't see nothing wrong with that, even though I don't really like the chorus and the production tbh
Anyway nice Guè avi fra
