if you read what homie posted on page 7 or whatever $uicideboy$ were the ones in the wrong getting salty at Paul for sampling their s*** when they've built their entire career off Three 6's sound pretty much (that and screaming like idiots on tracks which I guess is their own thing) lol I agree about the Juicy part but obviously Paul feels a type of way about it and Juicy is apparently onboard with it now idk

These guys really that dumb to call out DJ Paul for sampling them when all he had to do was bring up how they never asked for a single royalty check for sampling 3,6.

They get what they deserve lol

Somwone on that page also said Paul had been s***ting on them low-key by that point.

He made it seem like he thought they was wack and wanted no parts I remember the sub tweets cause it was a KTT1 thread.

They had a right to block the sample and be like "Nah we only rock wit juicy now" if he was being shady.

But idk end of the day it seems dumb to sue them and I doubt they gonna win cause by admitting he tried working with them its kinda open and shut.

I think that’s what’s gonna make this case favor Suicide Boyz, the simple fact Juicy & Paul already had a relationship with these and knowingly let them sample their music. You never know tho, they may have to pay up anyway cause it is 3.6 and Hypnotize Minds IP’s that their using and they have a right to charge them but, they had permission to use their music in the first place.

That was a story of its own tbh if you look at that project and listen to it it's literally like a remix album of $b cuts lol

Scrim also claimed that Lil Infamous from Seed Of 6ix actually didn't even f*** with that idea and it was all DJ Paul being salty lol
I might update this post with some screenshots but here's the TLDR

Like 2.5 people itt actually understand actual context tbf

    • Juicy J been f***ing with $b since like 2nd half of 2017: he dropped two $b prod tapes plus their debut album had heavy Juicy J involvement (all recorded in his studio iirc and he was listed as co-exec prod), so all 2018 they def were on good terms
    • Juicy J and DJ Paul weren’t on very good terms back then, DJ Paul even went on a twitter rant one time and called Juicy a sellout lol
    • middle of 2018: that DJ Paul s*** happened, when $b were minding their own business tbh and DJ Paul went on and released an album full of $b remixes (basically was a Seed Of 6ix album, but according to screenshot shown above, it wasn’t even their idea and they were cool with $b, probably still cool? Anyway it was barely a conflict tbh, everyone involved just continued minding their own business after that )
    • 2019 Juicy J seemingly stopped s/o $b (I think it was around the time $crim went rehab and had some harsh times etc), then I believe some time later that year they kinda announced reunion with DJ Paul
    • 2020 here we go

I’m probably only one here who actually followed all of the parties involved all this time lol so I know what I’m talking about

not really seeing the problem here. Thats how the music business goes with the sampling s***. If you sample heavily at some point you gone get taxed. $B definitely need to pay them though because their whole career is essentially owed to 3 6 sound and they dont really innovate on it they just be screaming lol.

The problem I guess is not sample clearance etc

It’s just extra weird on Juicy J side to be completely cool with dudes, even collabing with them multiple times, saying he’s cool with them using 36 samples, then do this s*** lol

You either want your royalties from the beginning or you’re not switching up after whatever reason

That’s why I don’t see the problem with DJ Paul doing it, he was consistent with it since way back

Switching up like that is wack

"DJ Paul and Juicy J claiming rap duo $uicideboy$ have pillaged their catalog in a lawsuit.
(AllHipHop News) Legendary Three 6 Mafia producers/founders are suing a popular Hip-Hop group for sampling over two dozen of their songs and passing them off as their music.

DJ Paul and Juicy J recently took legal action against $uicideboy$ for sampling various portions of their productions for Three 6 Mafia without permission."

"In total, DJ Paul and Juicy J say $uicideboy$ stole 35 of their songs and worked them into tracks on their album I Want to Die in New Orleans and other works."

    ———————————————————————-

    Copied from thread. From @Julian
ok , now I got it , the suicideboys actually f***ed up and fumbled their bag

    https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=emb_title&v=HDPQDqOzkcs

2:52 Dj Paul talks how the $uicideBoys got pissed at him for sampling them in his nephew's project and doesn't understand how they can get mad when they sample their whole sound and never gave him s***, and then he says he f***s with them
next he talks how he hasn't cleared any sample for their next album so they gotta talk
so basically the suicideboys f***ed up when complained like b****es because he did the same s*** they were doing (bro he even called the project $uicide6ix , it was clearly an homage to them too, they f***ed up )

lmfao thought juicy j cool with them. $b music aged like milk, but this some snake s***
