Premier a real legend man so many classics

i wish more producers made videos like these, especially as the pioneers are getting older i think its important for them to show the way they went about making their music. how often do you get to hear how a new artform was created directly from the artists who created it? i wish these were more in depth too, like actually loading up the project & showing the chops, talking about the samples, were they sampled in at 33, 45, or 78 rpm, etc

Exactly but I get it they don’t wanna give away all the magic. In the KRS vid Premier didn’t even give up the sample (probably for legal reasons lol)

Hearing the stories behind the records and the inspiration is good info too

Also I think these dudes make so many tracks that they can’t recall how they made them step by step
