I normally don't look to Vlad for his opinion on Drake, but I respect him for standing firm on his opinion Drake being up there as a lyricist. He didn't budge not one inch no matter how much Aries reacted. Now Vlad opinion may change in the future, but for now, I respect for this.

edit: Vlad made a very good argument in my book. Aries couldn't respond to it honestly because, he doesn't list to any of Drake's rapping tracks. Vlad clearly does on top of judging his overall career run.

Yasiin never said anything about Drake as a lyricist he just said he makes music to fuel consumerism and capitalism, you can be a super talented technical rapper and still rap about bullshit

Drake has had a nice balance of technique and accessibility before (NWTS, IYRTITL)

The subject matter in Drake’s music is still better than plenty of other talented rappers but he’s not really doing anything important in his songs or speech
