Is this more of white folks thing?

Well yeah older black people alot of times don't like wearing shoes in houses. Maybe it was more popular in America back in the day but fell out of relevance

dawg i’ve never walked in somebody house and they said “take yo shoes off”

like i’d respect it i guess but that’s deadass never happened

If you have your shoes on in the house you’re dirty

Where do you guys get this stuff from?

A majority of Americans prefer shoes off at the entrance of the house.

I've maybe only been to 2 or 3 houses where it was like "Idc", but that was during Summer time.

yeah, most people take their shoes off right when they walk into the house. i don't think it's that common for people to walk inside their house, go to their couch or bed and still have their shoes on.

I usually have indoor shoes but ion think mexicans really care about this cuz we clean religiously.

if you got carpet in the house tho it's a whole different story

I ask before I enter someone’s house. My parents really don’t care tbh, but 90% of people take their shoes off when entering my house
