But are you saying there's more than just investing?
Are you creating apps?
yes and yes. discord.gg/SRVtBZ4 not going to hijack the thread so join the ktt2 investment discord today!
search engine optimization is also been a dead field for nearly 10 years now
my last real job was actually an off shoot new industry of that called ASO "app store optimization" where i was helping top brands like Uber Netflix, Google etc rank higher for certain keywords on the App Store.
For example if you search "tik tok" then Instagram/Snap want to be top results for that word so they all bid against each other to rank there.
A***ogous to SEO though so if you're into SEO i'd recommend just applying that to ASO and you'll probably find much greater opportunities.
Personally i hate advertising so I would never want to work in that industry ever again. but it's a good starting point to get your foot in the door
that sounds mad exclusive lmoa I remember I was interested in ranking local locksmiths higher and businesses of that nature. I was basically apart of some guys SEO mastermind group and that was his hustle that he also used to push his apps which felt genius on his part
I'm gonna look more into this ASO thing now..

Does aso involve faking the reviews so that even s*** apps have 4 ratings

it's an interesting field i just don't know how much potential it has. unlike websites, small businesses don't need apps. most app companies are ran by a few huge conglomerates now. a lot of companies merging etc.
most consumers don't download new apps either. they stick to a few and that's it. that's why paid marketing is so big in apps. it costs a lot to acquire a new user unless you naturally go viral
it will be hard to find app companies willing to pay for your services as they usually will hire someone internally to handle their paid marketing
if you want a job though, the app industry is still growing like crazy in that respect and they usually are looking for warm bodies to fill roles. but this thread was focused on entrepreneurship so yeah

google and apple are pretty good about catching this stuff nowadays and they will actually just penalize you for trying to manipulate your ranks
also review rating has little impact on results of rankings. volume of reviews is more important
look at snapchat's average rating. it's super low lol because they don't give a s*** about any of this

word I couldn't imagine knocking on googles door tellin em I could offer some optimization
how did you go about promoting your app? I remember vaguely a site app/product creators would use and they'd host cash reward comps based on advertising or something like that

Can the AIs detect if its a real person reviewing it?

Do you do this?
yeah, my business is self-owned so except when it comes to leaning on partnerships/contracts i'm more or less self-employed. i will admit although it's one of the things which i'm very proud of both the amount of risk and sacrifices i had to make over the course of years to be able to do this is pretty ridiculous. it's worth it - in my opinion - but you have to really grind. The one thing I regret is that I do feel like working self-employed in wide industries (tech & entertainment) has made me extremely cynical and jaded. I wasn't born into a well off or connected family and I never had any connections until i networked and did everything myself. The sheer amount of nepotism, hatred toward "outsiders", blatant corruption, idiocracy, and fakeness you see in these industries from an organic perspective is crazy. I don't really deal with any of that stuff myself as I work in a more sliced-off sector but it exists tangential to me and it's hard to ignore. I miss when I could see things like new games or movies or innovative tech and be thrilled by it which is what pushed me to do this stuff from when i was younger. I'm happy to be doing stuff myself but at the same time the whole magic you think going behind the scenes isn't just evaporated it's straight up inverted.
