You do good you get good back, you do bad and bad comes back to you
It sounds completely false, from what I’ve seen the people in higher positions benefit from this thought process but they never have repercussions for their actions
I don’t think doing bad things if they benefit you is wrong since human society is built on exploitation, as long as it does hurt you in the future
Henry Kissinger like 95 years old still living off the souls of dead Cambodian children, karma faker than Kanye West & Drake - Bordeaux
If u do good because u want good things to happen to u that by definition makes those things u did for those reasons no longer good
Nah doesn’t make any sense imo, unless you couple it with belief in an after life. Otherwise couldn’t explain how bad things happen to good people, and bad people get away with s***

Lol reminds me of that Friends episode. Don’t agree tho, if i spend my life trying to cure cancer and then achieve that, but some (or all) of my motivation was to win a Nobel prize, i dont think that detracts from being a good deed
No but I believe in it in a metaphorical sense. Like if you do bad things you can't stand yourself
Yes, but karma doesn’t work in the way that most people think it works.
Yeah the Western interpretation of karma is very off, true definition got lost in translation

It was a deed that had a positive effect on the world but it's not a good deed, I think there's a difference.

does it really matter what the intention is if the end result is positive benefit?
death of the author kinda thing lmao
If karma was real, the hundred million
of kids that are working in textile factories for pennies for multi billion corporations wouldve been recompensed
f*** no, China gon be on niggas ass when they fully take over.
terrible people catch W's, good poeple pray for better days-

I think intent and motivation matters. Let's say I accidentally save somebody from drowning by some freak accident idk, or I risk my own life trying to save my own life, I would say one of the two deeds is more good than the other.
Honestly do your dirt and don’t feel any guilt, because it’s either you getting abused or you taking advantage of others
It was a deed that had a positive effect on the world but it's not a good deed, I think there's a difference.
fair enough, where do you draw the line between the two tho?

Hmm well i suppose that if we bring it into the context of a lifespan, someone with good intentions has a higher likelihood of a higher number of actions with good results than someone with a lack of any intention. Assuming they're successful in any of these intentions ofc lol
