One of my best friends worked at a car dealership. There’s a lot of potential to make great money if you’re good at what you do, but it’s soulless work.
Your whole job is to try to squeeze as much money as you can out of people who can’t really afford it. They target people based on stereotypes and compete to see who gets to take advantage of the naive.
My friend couldn’t take the guilt of it, so he wasn’t there long.
The average American car payment is around $700 a month these days which is f***ing outrageous to me lol
If they get commission yea, the lady i used to buy my cars from got $500 per new car sale and was doing like 10 sales a week at the time.
having a $700 car payment doest not mean you are balling lmaooo

Predatory job that shouldn't exist since the alternatives are much better if you just take the time and do research.

You shouldn't have that high a payment if you're balling like that because, if you were, you would have put some money down up front.

For new cars yeah but the point is what's wrong with buying a used car so you can live within your means.
$700 for a car payment and insurance when you are making under 100k is not sustainable
