im in a f***ed up position. i got a job i really really like a month ago and already messed it up.

i missed the last two days of work due to personal reasons and my phone got disconnected and i couldnt call them. before it got disconnected they were blowing up my phone though.

this is a temp job and the manager warned me that if i missed shifts and came in late i could be replaced easily. i texted the temp agency lady who got me the job saying i had a family emergency but i dont know if the manager at the place will want me to continue on.

is it even worth it to show up tomorrow? im most likely going to get fired right? i think i'll just call before im scheduled, apologize profusely, and see what they say. dont want to just never show up again.

i feel really bad about it though, the temp agency lady got me the job super quick and really believed in me and the manager at the place was super cool and was proud of how quick i was getting the hang of things. this would be an awful way to leave things.

yeah imma give them a call i dont want to waste my time coming in if im getting canned. if they let me comeback i'd be so grateful though.

Yeah i mean im not tripping too much over this job. It was a temp job i was only gonna work until like spring so i'd have to find a new job eventually, maybe even sooner than that if it interfered too much with classes next semester.

Pay was only a little over min wage but the hours were really steady and i got paid every week which was really nice. I do hope my manager lets me come back, but i'd totally understand why if he wanted to let me go.

Don’t stress yourself worrying about how they will look at you. They said out their own mouth you are expendable.

I had a job that wouldn’t let me take off when my grandpa was on his death bed so when I just told them just I’d quit they started trying to backtrack and give me 2 weeks off. Still quit because it was f*** me and my family until they saw it was real.

chill ass job though your in this little office all day by yourself and when its slow, which is often, you can f*** around on your phone, listen to music, watch movies, s*** i even vape in there.

and it was always like 30+ hours a week, paid every friday morning. damn imma be lowkey hurt if i lose it.
