you’re literally missing out on music at a time when people felt less apathy about the world. like you can hear it in the music

So you grew up in the 2000s not listening to at least early 2000s music?
Like Jesus man y’all never even had radio experiences? You’re saying 2007 as if Beyoncé didn’t dominate this year still with singles from BDay

People on here be arguing about beyonce or jay or mj as if they actually out here blasting their discogs like that
People who hate Beyoncé are so weird to me.
Closest thing we'll ever get to Tina Turner and Michael again but the world likes cheapening a black woman's accomplishments
Yea I never bumped Beyoncé either but I did like that little Disney s*** she did last year

I do the same and i disagree music now is better
Especially rap, rnb, alternative and pop
Occasionally you stumble across the goats like outkast, or mobb deep who I recently made a thread about where the music sounds ahead of the time but it’s the exception not the rule

im'a keep it real witcha dawg I rather play Hov's discog 1000 times than listen to some of these new niggas. I'm absolutely putting on Beyoncé before I put on Summer Walker. I don't think that's outlandish to think at all, especially within this community that has a lot of real music lovers.
I like Who Run The World, Bow Down, and Sorry

Man said in full confidence nobody is listening to Jay Z, Beyonce, and Michael Jackson's discographies...MJ alone been a global icon/superstar since he was a child. Jay Z and Beyonce been two of the biggest and most influential acts in rap and pop/R&B music respectively for nearly three decades
