I was never into it until i moved to rhode island and now im in love with it. I like to fish the south shore near the salt ponds and also in the Narragansett bay. Hoping to get up to the Cape soon to do some striper fishing in the canal

How do I get into fishing

Depends where you live and what kind of fishing is popular there. Most tackle shops around me have used rod and reel combos with line and everything already on them which is how i got into it

My uncle quit d**** and found fishing. He recently had a stroke in 2018. We took him out fishing yesterday and he gave me one of his poles to keep and I damn near cried.
