I saw one 4DX movie in my life and it was the second john wick or something and I went with a few friends. Was it fun? I mean yea but in a joking way. Like there was no way we could have a serious movie going experience with gusts of wind blasting us in the face and the chair doing backflips

I see so many people saying they went 4DX for their first and only experience and I'm like that can't be real. I would never do it again

It's a gimmick, I watched that Beast Gohan Dragon Ball movie in it, wouldn't recommend unless it's the only format that particular movie is screening in near you.

If you want to go on a rollercoaster ride instead of watching a movie just go on the rollercoaster ride

i saw a nature doc in imax 4DX like 17 years ago, kinda was a cool experience but i wouldn’t like to watch a good film that way. maybe a bad genre film would be elevated this way though
