I go to places with people who have similar goals and interests and make friends with them. It's not too hard when you live in a big city. I would say 1/3 of my followers on IG are people I networked with IRL.

it happens naturally thru hanging out with people with similar interests, passions and/or goals, y’all become friends and thru living life and meeting new friends it opens doors to new spaces which leads to meeting more people.
