Most long term homeless are mentally ill by the majority, then followed by a chunk due to health issues, then followed by soley job/finacial market, which a strictly money/job situation is not that big compared to the other two.

And i have been nice to homeless people idiot not hard nor does it take any effort, n i be in CA & AZ. Theres plenty of unfortunate people to go around n 95 percent of the time its fine.

Of course I feel bad for homeless people.

Keep in mind in the United States of America we have the resources to house every single person in this country, but the powers that be consciously choose not to do it.

With taxes we pay into a system that should in turn provide every citizen with protection and a social safety net to prevent the mass homelessness that exists today, but instead all of that money goes towards imperialist endeavors that exclusively enrich the bourgeois class and further widens the wealth gap margins.

The reality is the lack of protection we have in this country is something that we have the ability to change and would likely greatly improve the lives of the overwhelming majority of people, yet we choose not to because we are condition to believe those things are wrong and not inline with “American values.” The threat of violence through homelessness is what keeps so many of us in low wage jobs without demanding better pay and working conditions and also contribute to the rapid increase in rent costs. Whether you know it or not homelessness has major negative impact on all of us.

In other countries people pay taxes so the government can do its job of protecting its citizens. In the US we pay taxes and expect absolutely nothing in return. We should be asking why our country operates this way.

Also lol due to me as a person with long term health problems ive SEEN NIGGAS GO HOMELESS for outrageous medical bills & uncovered insurance.

And yeah, ive actually helped out at a center a few times, because its easy anyday for me to be in that same situation. And i donate my old clothes fairly often. Not out here saving literally everyone everyday or even every week/month, but i help where i can when i can if i can.
