LMAO???
I don’t think there’s any of the 14 rihanna #1s that you would say, ‘I don’t remember that one
Literally this.

It's all good except when it's not
I don't even take it serious no more but it's bad
I’ve been a Drake hater since 2016 but I think it’s silly to say his career is over. People will love anything and it’s obvious he still has a fanbase, but the armor is definitely off. He’s no longer “that guy” unless you’re a Stan. I’ve seen a dude I graduated with burning his ovo hat the other day saying he’s over it, which I think is a bit much… overall I don’t think he’s gonna go away but he won’t ever be top dog anymore (no pun intended)
He basically on the same boat as ye passed there prime. Pushing legend status but nobody really checking for anything new from them.
what's kanye territory
only gonna have devoted stans and fans praising him but he will won’t have that mainstream chokehold he had before
what's kanye territory
Will debut high, sell high, and tour well but no longer chokeholds the market

Gotta crackenveganstan right thru it

that's fair, id argue its been that way for kanye since 2013 after Yeezus dropped

Nah. 2018 fully. He still had a small chokehold 2013-2016 while it was moving to Drake. Saint Pablo rants + cancellation were the nail in the coffin

You forgot to add that they both outstream the majority of the newer rappers who are supposed to be "hotter" than them.
That's what makes the "career over' discussion so weird.
I mean....Uzi, Yeat, and Gunna couldn't even clear 100k this year.
Vultures 1 is the 2nd most streamed rap album of this year and has the 2nd most streamed rap song of this year.
Yeah....Kanye and Drake might be "over" when it comes to putting out MBDTF/NWTS level albums but the newer rappers who are supposed to overtake them aren't overtaking them commercially or even critically.
Kendrick and Future aren't even from the new generation either.

Donda was huge too and went number 1 in more countries on Apple than CLB.

Kanye comes out as a nazi and still went #1
I think Drake fine. Maybe not as dominant anymore but he been selling less every album for years now
Kanye periodically goes on periods of total radio silence, to the point where he hides his face, and has a core fanbase of high schoolers and college students foaming at the mouth for new music.
Completely different situation IMO. Drake posts on IG all the time and has been active all year in stake streams and s***.
