TheFaderOver? No, he will still make millions and draw millions of streams with each project he releases.
The same dominant juggernaut he was before? No, we’ve already the numbers start to taper off with his recent studio albums and all the songs he’s dropped this year have been commercially underwhelming.
I think he’ll exist in that Em / Jay tier for the rest of his career.
No longer the #1 guy, but still able to do respectable numbers like 200K-300K with a new album, and also have the ability to fill up a venue whenever and wherever. Basically a legacy act at this point

Eminem is an alien when it comes to rap sales.
Dude legit is one of the best selling artists in any genre when it comes to straight CD sales.
Drake has him beat in the singles and streaming department but technology played a major role in assisting in that. Lose Yourself, for instance, is 13 times Platinum despite not even coming out in the streaming age.

I feel like you know that this is a disingenuous comparison.. the actual Drake singles this year were all released for free online long before they were put on DSPs (with no promo, videos, artwork, etc), and the features were all with lesser-known artists (4Batz, Fuerza Regida, Camila Cabello, Snowd4y, etc.).
Those random features that don't perform well exist in any year of Drake's career, too.. Just look at 2016 for an example. Come And See Me peaked at 55, Why You Always Hatin at 62, Back on Road at 81, Wanna Know Remix didn't even chart. But if you'd said Drake's career was over in 2016 because not all of his features were going Top 10 for 6 months straight, you would've been a moron
There's a reason why NLU is the biggest song of Kendrick's career and it's not just because it's an anthem. It's partially because it was associated with Drake. Kendrick got more attention than he ever had because he went at Drake. Those guys have both been around for 15 years now, and the public has chosen Drake over Kendrick for total consumption every single year. It's not like this summer is gonna change that, and nobody else is taking the top spot anytime soon

Posts like this seem well-intentioned but they always come off as disingenuous. Y'all talk like Drake ever stopped talking about his life and telling us what was going on. He never did. There's songs on every Drake project where he gives you the latest on his life and where he is mentally.
