yeah generally people use haha and lol unnecessarily because they want to make that person they’re replying to comfortable. It’s dumb but it’s a nice gesture. I’m guilty of using lol when i probably just made a weird T noise with my tongue.

Lmao the “tss” noise? Yea thats what I always assume. But it makes me feel like theyre uncomfortable cause they have to pad everything with lols and hahas.
