Might be dumb i know but i feel like the average joe feels more connected to celebs when they can like and comment on their social media even though that celeb will probably never see it. Ive heard people say they cant relate to drake anymore because a lot of his problems are rich/famous people problems but yall think something as small as turning off ig comments and only limiting it to other famous/rich people (mostly) has hurt the cause even more?

i think he finds more importance in his mental state VS disconnecting with fans
ppl wrote some effed up s*** he was forced to read at times.
Drake has always used his music to connect with us as fans so I don’t think the comment thing disconnects us.
Imagine going to work everyday and logging into your email and you had random emails from people you don’t know saying crazy s*** about your personal life. I’d disable that s*** too
Aside from all the people commenting f***ed up s***, there has to be something comforting about only your friends commenting when you’re that famous

No it wasn’t. It was right after Adidon dropped, his comment section was barraged with comments relating to pusha/Kanye

why make up a fake narrative instead of actually checking the dates? he limited comments almost 2 months AFTER that.
his comments weren't limited until a couple weeks after xxxtentacion was killed

Drake nor any artist with his platform need IG comments to connect with fans. there are so many other ways to do that.
Do people really take commenting on ig posts this seriously?
My god
No ones taking it seriously its just a question. Just like drake stans have been coming on ktt for years to discuss anything drake related im sure theres people who dont visit forums but found discussion in those comments on music related posts etc. I dont really care either way im just wondering if it would be legitimate to wonder whether less interaction could cause more of a disconnect
Ruthless pop stans/the barbs are too powerful lmao its probably for the best that he limited comments
