Basically, HN will be loved by the same people who always love Drake albums. People just wanted to get jokes off and now I’m seeing those same people post how it isn’t bad. Few weeks from now people will show more love to it because it’s Drake and they don’t want to hate on him.
"real" house music
against all logic, daft punk, jon hopkins, dj sprinkles, the field, underworld, etc

in all seriousness the drake album is just as much contemporary R&B, I think that’s what the dude meant

Donda treatment
People will continue to say they don't like it because they either haven't listened again or they are in denial
ok this is my new anxiety killer album
listened to it about 10 times and I love every single song
edit:wrong thread
I think it'll get the Dawn FM treatment where it's accepted as a cool album that people initially hated on but it's still in the shadow of the previous album(AH and CLB).
But I don't see it getting the WLR treatment though. WLR has the influence on modern rap and unique aesthetic on top of the music. This album is cool but I don't see it making waves in music and there's no actual theme from Drake besides him hopping on a new genre.
