A few high profile rapper arrests in Miami. Baby (Da), Bandman Kevo, Polo G, Pooh Shiesty. Some rappers say they're being targeted, and Polo G says the cop said they'd been following him since he got off the jet

I can imagine Miami PD wishes it were still the days when EDM was king down there, but I also wonder how much of it is profiling vs. just rappers doing dumb rapper s*** like getting into shootouts or pulling out a gun at their own show

Da Baby shot a gun on a busy street (but it was in self defense). His artist and another guy were shooting and got arrested for it

Pooh Shiesty pulled a gun at a show and let off a shot whether intentionally or not

Shiesty only pulled his gun while he was basically getting robbed. Probably fired by accident.

Yeah it may not have been a shootout since idk if the 3rd shooter was with Da Baby’s entourage or not. All the shooting might have come from Da Baby’s side, which wouldn’t be a “shootout” really

And I read somewhere that Pooh Shiesty just shot on accident when dropping his gun but the IG / Twitter posts at the time made it seem like he shot on purpose while people were in his pockets. It’s Florida so it might be justified

Either way, I feel like Miami knows this stuff doesn’t happen with EDM or pop stars so they are probably targeting rappers. But then rappers could also move better and not get on stage with $100k hanging out of their pockets or could better deesclate situations like Da Baby thing before guns are involved
