I mean, after what went down, bro's exiled himself yet again & deleted all of his socials.

It's evident he's working on new music, but do you think (with his controversy being at an all time high) he even cares about putting out something that's so perfect, people will forgive him for the absolute f***ery he's done?

I mean, as far as his mental's concerned, I heard he's back on track.

He's done with the 2024 s***, Is no longer on Social Media, & seems to be laser focused on his fashion line & music. (according to people in his circle)

Even then, if it's a return to form (like secular, rappity rap Ye with maximal production etc) & it's critically acclaimed by both the public & the media outlets, does it make up for the antisemitic b.s.?

Just wanna' get y'all's thoughts cause I've been done with him, but revisited his catalog this past week or two & it's just sad to see bro do this to himself time/after time & (WE) keep allowing it.

I also think he's at a point where s*** doesn't matter & he's just gonna' focus on his family & whatever else is going on (which is completely cool)

    What are y'all thoughts?

I think he's gonna' attempt a comeback, but have no clue how it's gonna' turn out.

I don’t think he “has to” but I hope he does. It would be his best way to win back the public

I think a lot of music fans will be willing to listen to his new music. I know I am ready for new Ye despite all the s*** that went down. Unfortunately he has lost it, I don't think he is able to create another classic.

  • Jul 1, 2023

I think it's best if he just retires. will always be a legend that changed the game but that last meltdown/public antic kind of killed all hope of a comeback. Nothings impossible but Ye would have to do a whole lot of ass kissing and apologizing to even be thought of in good graces and if you know Ye and his ego he aint finna do any of that

Disagree. Donda would have been a classic if you cut it down to 15 or so tracks. There was a classic in there

    He doesn't give a s***

Or if he does he can't express it via concrete action so it's the same result

I think he's still capable if he brings in the right team & that's his main focus.

No extra side s*** going on.

That, or sincerely commit to healing and philanthropy after some serious post-nut clarity. Maybe do a PR visit to israel. kanye is incapable of humility and genuine self-reflection though so it won't happen and the best one can hope for is that he'll keep quiet about it

  • I personally don’t think he cares. He’s cooked

When will these bait threads stop?

I hope he puts out another Yeezus just to leave everyone in distraught even more. That'd be based, it's like the second career ending moment Ye says f*** it, realizes he doesn't need public opinion and just operates out of large estate in some foreign country - becomes a Howard Hughes-esque recluse/genius. A fitting end for an American icon

    That'd be pretty dope tbh.

Heard he's been bumping "Yeezus" too, so who knows?

His flow is completely gone. Is it the d****, meds?

He still has the voice and production. And lyrically he can def put out something decent, but it's like he's reading his bars or some s***. Trying to fill in words that don't fit etc.

Considering Kanye has relied on collaborators, and he went scorched earth. Good luck.

Him and Fivio can do Watch the Throne II I guess

  • He's over.

Barring Drake/New Rap releases -- Kanye's been the most consistent performer on Spotify.

More people stream Ye daily than they do Kendrick,Travis,Cole,Eminem,Jay,Uzi (prior to his lp drop),Gunna,Future etc..

No need for an MBDTF 2

  • Jul 1, 2023

Tbh based on his output since Yeezus, Kanye doesn’t have it in him anymore to produce a “MBDTF” level album ever again. I just enjoy his pre-JIK discography for what it is now as that’s where my interest in Kanye ended.

Donda was supposed to be that, everybody forgave him, came to the shows, etc.

Then he does stupid again for attention like WLM t-shirts and praising Hitler.

So who really cares at this point lol he just gonna ruin the moment anyway.

That reading flow he has now is sound bland and cringe

Literally no charisma, swagger or confidence in his raps anymore lol

I mean Donda had glimpses of that but wasn’t consistent enough

  • Jul 1, 2023

Yes but he doesn’t care so it won’t happen

  • Mmm Hmm 😆

it’s either punch ins which suck out a lot of his personality that was a lot more evident in his older songs or him not being able to find the pocket it’s rough
