With the volume of music dropping everyday and so many artist to keep up with, imo it makes me kinda forget how good an album from a few months ago was just because i'm already looking forward to a new album coming.

this doesn't apply to my favorite artist, but for example Roddy's album is dope af, but in a few months his fans will probably want a new tape soon

This is 100% facts and I've been feeling like this for the past 2 and a half years
Plus like since music is so accessible now, people who just started really listening to music often have so sense of patience and expect every artist to drop every 6 months

This is the truth bro and I've felt like this since 2015. There's a big album dropping every week so you really only end up taking the songs you f***ed with from first listen and adding them to a playlist to shuffle. You gotta really f*** with the artist to keep revisting their music and hopefully find some of the gems you missed the first time.

Nah, I don't even listen to s*** or go seeking out artists unless I come across it organically and I'm really drawn in. Too little quality control to be sifting through Soundcloud or Spotify, or be jumping on the latest rapper that has a little buzz. I just listen to whatever that happens to comes across my path that's dope.
