i do really miss one of my homies from that group though, he still lives close by but we haven't been particularly close since college started (fall 2016) and at this point i'd just feel goofy trying to start our relationship back up. like idk i just don't feel comfortable trying to come back into his life y'know

i mean for me, i know for a fact that i just miss the times more than anything(those times being senior year of HS and freshman year of college)because even back then i knew that i wasn't really all that close with most of the people in the group. like they were good to joke around, play games, or hang out with, but i knew for a fact that i couldn't actually talk to them about some deeper s*** or relate to for whatever reason. for reference it was like 9 of us, the ones that i was actually close to, excluding the friend i talked about in the other post, i'm still friends with today, i haven't talked to the others in like two years or so. and we all still live in the same town too so that's how i know for sure that those relationships are pretty much dead.

Do it! Just say you’ve been busy w/ college or something it’s not as weird as you think. When I was in college my friend had some kids and I only saw him like once a year. After 5 years of college I started hangin out w him regular again and it’s wild to see his kids growing up and him trying to be a dad.
