If you’re not sick, just not feeling like going in?
I just used one of my sick days. I hardly use my sick days at all fr. My last call off was on thanksgiving and I was definitely sick asf but today I’m just not feeling like going into work.
I’m in a position where if I call in, Someone has to take over my duties and it’s mainly management or people that’s trained in my area, that’s where it kinda sucks. And I’m like the best worker.
the last time that anyone in management worked was thanksgiving when they last covered for you
never feel remorse for not going to work

sounds like the issue is with the company not having enough employees to cover for situations like that so no I wouldn't feel bad...I worked for a small business for 10 years and my dumbass would prly still be there had COVID and bad business decisions not led them to close up shop...I'd call in feeling deathly ill and have my manager still insist I come in and try to guilt trip me about how short staffed they were at the time...in the end they still owe me a f***in paycheck that'll probably take me years to get from them if I even decide to take it to court and go through that process (labor department tried to get it back but soon as the owner quit responding they basically just told me "sorry n s*** you're on your own")...so in short no you shouldn't feel bad about taking a mental health day occasionally bc I promise they aren't considering you when taking their vacations or extended breaks
No, who cares lol
You're a good worker and you barely take days off. They're b****es if they've got something to say.
Never feel bad for the company only feel bad for myself because i'm gonna have extra s*** to do when i get back

Imagine feeling bad for using your PTO, taking time off for your mental health or because you’re sick
F*** ‘em
When i worked at a job i didn’t like i actually felt better knowing they had to scramble when i called out, now with the job i have i kinda do but it’s not really a big deal
i always feel bad when i take vacation and sick days idk,,, i wish i could get over that. my dad was the same way but my called out all the time lol
I don’t feel bad for the company, I feel bad that my coworkers have to pick up the slack
