I have this problem of hesitating to or regretting spending money on clothes, skincare, and other things that would make my life a little better. I try to overcome it and justify it by reminding myself why it's worth it, but it's a persistent, lingering feeling that always holds me back.
Anyone else go through this? What do you do to combat it?
Yeah. Absolutely terrible sometimes. i remember when i bought my PS4 i felt sick to my stomach & didn't really care about it like i did before i bought it... i learned purchases grow on me cause now i love it & don't regret buying it
not really because i spend at least a week contemplating buying stuff that costs hundreds or more that aren't a necessity.
plus being at home for 6 months with no income coming in and no reason to buy s*** made me do a 180 so now i save/invest as much as i can.
I used to feel terrible about it but I’ve learned it’s okay to treat myself and everytime it motivates me to make more money
Depends on the thing. I've dropped $400 on rock climbing related gear this month but I'm super happy about those purchases. But I've also only bought like 1 pair of jeans this year and some conditioner. Just use coconut oil for moisturizer. So cheap in that department. I take a long time to buy things that aren't groceries lol. Asking myself if it's worth it and s***.
i don’t buy non-necessities often enough to
last thing i got under that category was persona 4 a few months ago that was 100% worth it, and i’m getting a black cashmere sweater off uniqlo in like a week i know i won’t regret when the ladies see me in it
No, coz I rarely spend on myself. It's for a reason tho, coz when I do, I get carried away soo...

I know what you mean and I agree. I'm like you when it comes to deciding whether or not to buy something, too. I also spend a lot of time and energy comparing products to make sure I get the best one for my needs. I often end up just buying nothing at all.
If it's something that I know I'll get my money's worth of, I don't have as much of a problem buying it, however.
Make sure you use sunscreen regardless of weather, too. It probably doesn't seem like the UV rays do much damage to your skin, but it actually does, especially over time. It doesn't help that UV rays still get through on cloudy days.
I get buyer's remorse all the time, to the point that I'll keep stuff unopened for a couple weeks just in case I find whatever I bought for cheaper and have to return it
