you do well to bring that up, for all of trav's flaws he was an elite marketter even before astroworld, whether it was him or his team, he was alongside "street" artists nonstop and levelled up his collabs ( Justin Bieber, Weeknd, Drake) every year. maybe with keem collabing with kendrick and drake we will see him step up
his fans bought into the idea of trav being a "street" artist like rich homie quan and thug, giving him a "credible" foundation to build on that keem doesnt have yet.
to me keem comes across as a guy who got in the industry cos of kendrick, not off any real special talent of his own
I definitely get that feeling too. While his music can be catchy it also lacks any real substance to make you care about the artist behind it. The songs are just "interesting" without any lasting appeal.
