Why or why not?
Began going to shows this year. I liked the experiences, but I feel like going out of my way for these live performances might be a tad overrated. There's also that element of celebrity worship involved. I'm a chill guy, so it doesn't take that much for me to have a good time. Feels like everything is a blur after the show's over anyway, so I'm not even sure it's worth the money.
Concerts I’ll only attend if it’s a smaller venue. I hate big venues(example basketball stadiums n s***)

You never seen Kanye live?
I've only been to 2. First was ye @ the saint pablo tour in the pit and it was 10/10 amazing.
2nd time was Santana. It was enjoyable but nothing I would want to "relive"
So yes, I do like concerts from my experience so far.
shows are incredible cause of intimacy. stadium concerts are mostly hype
I’ve seen Adam Sandler twice live
The first was at a theater specifically meant for performing, the second was where my city’s hockey team plays
The second place was over seven times the size of the first so the vibe couldn’t have been more different even though he was pretty much doing the same thing
Nigga was getting heckled multiple times but was nicer than a Canadian to them

great story
i went to shows about a once a week for at least a year during fresh year and noticed the size of the venue makes a huge difference, even if it's some basic ish like acoustics
s*** also changes how everyone acts just like w/your hecklers lol (the performer too), and atmosphere is everything.
songs that feel world-altering in a 100 degree basement with everyone into it would be bad in the hockey arenas. a lot depends on genre and what you looking for i g

I saw Radiohead at Madison Square Garden after their last album came out
Do you know what 20,000 people singing everything in its right place sounds like?

that's what i said, just in reverse
amazing stuff in a stadium wouldn't be a cool in a basement. dunno if you're disagreeing or genuinely asking me but yeah
as someone who's been to a lot of shows back to back to back though, intimacy is the thing you should look for. and you don't get that in most big shows -- world class musicians like radiohead don't tour all the time, they're usually once every 3 year ventures.
love them
something about a group of people enjoying an artist that you been f***ing with for years while said artist is in front of you always leaves an impact on me

Live music is one of the last things I truly enjoy. I’m at a point where I’m getting pretty exhausted of arena scale shows and festivals though
Have you ever been front row for an artist you love? It can make a huge difference in your experience

You’re right and it’s part of the reason I see more comedy shows than music shows
Comedy forces you to be entirely present of what’s happening in the room
