On one hand, morning shifts allow you to get work over with and once you clock out, you’re out, so you’re free to chill.
However, morning shifts typically mean you have to get up early, which is ass.
Afternoon to evening you get the day to relax before your shift.
However, your shift tends to loom over that entire period, quickly drawing nearer and nearer, sort of tainting your ability to relax.
Personally, I go back and forth a bit but probably prefer morning work.
Morning
Yeah it sucks to get up early sometimes but being active early & starting your day is it’s own reward
Plus I have the nights to myself which is important for me
I like working as early as possible, get it out the way then do whatever I want for the rest of the day
I'd prefer unemployment
Never thought I'd see an Abandoned Pools profile pic on KTT
But yeah, as much as it sucks, morning is best.
What's ideal is you have slow mornings, are productive from 10am-2pm, and then get to ride s*** out until the end of the work day
When I worked exclusively full time, which was 9 1/2 to 10 hour days, I thought the s*** would be worse if I worked later, but I really can’t imagine how mind numbing it’d be to work from like 4-10 PM. You’re basically sleeping at 11 at the earliest
The best medium I could think of would be like 10-6 bc you could still get some s*** done at night, esp if you’re willing to vamp a lil
Morning. Not only am I anxious on those afternoon shifts but your whole day is pretty much spent at work lol
working from home I wake up everyday at 10am
