Diverse of course. I want to be surrounded by people from all walks of life and perspectives; it's probably what I like most about college

I feel the opposite (if I read your post correctly). I love diversity when we all grow up together and have a common sense of customs and behaviors. You don’t get the same sense of community when everyone is coming from abroad with their own predisposed ways of life that they are not willing to change. Not to say differences bad, but usually the more similar we are the better.

Homogeneity is a thing too in communities that aren't all whites, I can thrive in either situations tbh. What I mostly want now is someplace that doesn't emphasize on the need to have car to go around and man I actually like cars a lot, but it has more bad impact than what people would like it to

Ive lived in cities like this. Atlanta for sure is diverse in the sense that it’s a big city where 50% of the population is black then u got whites at 35% then a bunch of different races scattered but essentially just mostly black and white. Most American cities tend to be this kinda diverse just due to population and it’s definitely cool seeing different races be the majority like black people in atl, latinos in miami etc

Vs a place like toronto where it’s really just asians, middle easterns, black people, whites etc in relatively equal numbers. This diverity is cool too cus u get to experience different food and s*** but the downside imo is that these small groups of minorities eventually will just assimilate into the dominant white culture
