link their best albums. I want to really tap in but off the strength of what I know, Cash is definitely the better artist
I've got playlists for each year of their prime era if you wanna see how their songs ranked beside each other

Barely listened to either, don’t think I’m missing much
Always funny to when people can look at world changing icons and be like yeah nah I'm above this
Cash has it for me
Elvis was about the glamour and shine in the spotlight
Cash grabbed you with the passion and sorrow he sang through his songs.
I think they both had their own unique element. Elvis fit right in at Vegas
Cash would perform at prisons and have everyone singing along like they were living through his music.

Mhm. I personally prefer my world changing icons like Buju Banton, Aretha Franklin, Louis and Coltrane 🙂 never enjoyed the type of music those other legends make
Cash with June's family backing him his mother in law was literally the founding Queen of Country and an insanely influential genius musician in her own right

I get it but you're wrong and you should check out the song I just posted

His voice is very rich and powerful, and the song evokes a lot of emotion, especially singing about the Lord Jesus Christ. But I’m still not a fan, I couldn’t listen to this as often as I do the artists I mentioned. I’m not a fan of Cash and Elvis’ voice tone, but I recognize they are legends to many

You would probably fall in love with their voices if you kept them in rotation for a bit but at least you recognized the quality

Much prefer Cash
Have you heard the one song Elvis ever wrote, about his mom after she passed away?
Been on a Willie Nelson and Hank Williams Jr kick lately
paging @RVI for some more insight
I probably like Elvis catalog a little better ngl
Willie and Waylon would be a bit above either of them for me tho

You haven't been pulling up with much of either for me surprised you don't mention George or Merle over these two tbh

I mean both of their peaks start in 1973 basically so
thank you for this bro!
No problem
I spent months curating each of those playlists so I harass people to listen to them as much as possible lol
