I just used 2025 as a halfway marker since alot could happen between now and then to see if someone can step up and take his spot.
As of right now, the only two rappers I could realistically see doing that recently was Travis or Juice Wrld BUT
Travis has yet to fully cross into the "pop" aspect of rap like Drake has. I don't know what about him that's holding him back, but he's like just below the tier that could make him reach Drake level
Juice Wrld had the melodies and pop influence, but his subject matter of heavy d*** use could never fully make him as big as Drake. Unless he stuck to basic heartbreak type songs like Lucid Dreams
Yes by Lil Keed in 2020
Keed's not even the best artist on YSL tbh. So no

Tbh he is so yes
You know juice died right?
Dont see Drake getting dethroned any minute tbh
Yeah, same. Atleast not by any talent that's already established.
It's definitely gonna come from some newcomer that blows into the scene if at all
Sorry I should've clarified in my OP Juice obviously can't now but he did possess the potential before his death
Too good for too long
Like asking do you see LeBron not being the king before he retires

Juice was on the down turn commercially before his death.
Chloe Hotline. by then I’ll be a pop girl and have an army of rabid stans who tweet videos of me performing
i honestly thought it was gonna be travis after astroworld dropped but he’s still yet to hit drake level
if we’re talking only charts then he’s gonna get dethroned by post malone real soon if not already

He was a streaming giant that had numbers comparable to Post Malone and Drake
And he had only been in the game for 2 years

Same. Especially with Sicko Mode and HITR but there's just something holding Travis back that I can't quite put into words.
