If you don’t know the difference between real and fake then does it really matter?

how many people do you come across in real life that can actually tell the difference?

I think it's already normalized among white/suburban zoomers that just want to wear cool-looking clothes and don't care about the "culture" that much

Reps are getting almost 1:1 at this point.

I’ve seen some J’s with terrible quality control from Nike and reps on other hand looked superb.

They’ve been mainstream, maybe they’re just now making their way to mainstream for shoes. People been buying replica bags for decades. My friend got a Prada bag and I was like daaaamn this is fire nice cop and she was like thanks I got it off dhgate for $80. S*** looked perfect and I was actually looking for flaws LOL. If someone not even into fashion like that is buying into reps you know a good portion of the public is. Not for me, but different strokes I guess.

reps used to be a somewhat shameful thing, but now i'm seeing so many zoomers proudly wearing it and making it known on tiktok and reddit. times have changed and i'm still getting used to it.

Also if u think about it the younger generation no way they can afford the real thing but they're still influenced by what's popular and wanna look cool

    For me, no.

I would never buy reps. If I can’t afford the shoe, oh well. On to the next shoe

The ones that buy reps aren’t true sneakerheads

Why blame it on scalpers like this wasn't a thing years ago? It has gotten worse sure but it's not the sole reason as to why.

In any case, not mainstream no and at this point, I just don't care seeing some teen with some nice kicks because i'll just automatically think it's fake.

No. Ppl outside of big cities dress off lifestyle not fashion. Keep in mind..in America..theres more small cities & rural towns than big ones

Stuff like Dior,Balenciaga,Gucci and LV are the most replicated cause their the most mentioned fashion brands in pop culture. When you see people in generic Gucci gear when there making so much interesting s*** now or see someone in a tight ass Balenciaga shirt when they oversize a lot of their clothing,it’s hard not to think it’s fake

I have yet to see anyone rock replica outerwear from any of those brands tho and that’s where designers really put the work in at.

No because I've realized sneakerhead culture has just transformed into trying to impress other dudes that are on Instagram too much with your expensive kicks.

Just like streetwear, isn't it fun
