it's definitely more cohesive and fully realized. wlr had a lot of potential. i just wish he didn't include the die lit 2 lite stuff like neon, sky, over, etc. not because they're bad but they stick out like a sore thumb and make no sense in the context of the album
Album is multiple albums put together, which is why it turned out that way, however I’d argue all the songs sound good in context.
Also sky is more WLR than die lit

rayrayI thought Neon was clearly out of place. However sky & over really don’t sound out of place on the album. They mesh in well the way it was sequenced in the album imo. Since WLR is aging pretty well to the core fans and it was redone in what 4 weeks? And people think it’s on par with DL. I can only imagine how good carti next project will be if he gives us a full year of recording & no last minute scraps
