There are many separatist movements currently gaining traction, proposed, or near success.

In the UK, we have Scottish Nationalists under the SNP who support scotland leaving the United kingdom. They currently control the scottish government. Theyre not the worst, if they wanna go they can go, but I wish they wouldnt pretend Scotland was a colonised nation when Scotland willingly joined the uk

Northern ireland also has an active separatist party, Sinn Feinn, that desires a united ireland and NI obviously leaving the uk. I believe they have much more justification as Ireland was colonised once, but donr support people using violence and violating the good friday peace agreement.

Welsh separatism is much weaker

I dont support them and think we are better together, but I dont think calling them idiots and misguided will make them want to stay
