Do you think any major policies would be put in place now that dems have both house and senate

  • Jan 7, 2021

Biden is a soft republican. I doubt he’ll do anything major.

read up literally anything about Joe’s past and it aligns perfectly with Republican ideology

at the very least, I expect decriminalization of marijuana and some policies/attempts to combat global warming

    Doubtful

  • Somewhere in the middle

    Infrastructure bill will probably pass

  • Depends on what you consider “major”.

  • Jan 7, 2021

    I hope so, but realistically....

I doubt much happens these next 4 years. People want some stability.

Remember in the Senate you need 60 votes to pass most bills. They will use the “nuke option” a couple of times to pass something significant, but I’m not sure what they would use it on at this point. I’d say the $2000 stimulus check will likely have enough bipartisan support to not use it in that instance. I’m hoping for M4A though.

joe biden does not support M4A nor do most democrats.

    Synopsis

joe biden does not support M4A nor do most democrats.

You’re right, my bad. But, like I said, they will use the nuke option at least once for something significant. Not sure what that will be at the moment yet though. I am sure there will be healthcare reform, an infrastructure bill, student debt relief of some kind and a focus on clean energy. With Biden it’s not going to be any moments changes, but it will be a lot better than what we’ve had the past 4 years.

Hopefully the 2k but I don’t have hope for much more

  • People voted against m4a

Biden campaigned on adding a public option to Obamacare, hold him to that

    Whats up

Hopefully the 2k but I don’t have hope for much more

I think we get it because the GA senators ran on it and Biden said he would pass it too. Plus I feel like there would likely be enough support from Republicans for it. They just need 9 of them.
