I can't stand people who say what pops into their heads without thinking, those no filter people are always hella annoying and usually say some insensitive s***.
But I'm too far on the opposite end, I think too much about what to say and the conversation just dies before I say anything. Sometimes I predict how to respond while the other person's still talking but their sentence ends up being something I never expected and my response doesn't make sense

Not fake nice, but I appreciate sensitivity and empathy in conversation. For example, if someone you know is gay and you bring them around someone without a filter, they'd be saying homophobic s*** and cracking offensive gay jokes even if you warned them not to. People who speak without thinking don't consider the other person and usually say something inappropriate without even meaning to
My parents and brothers nah. I do it with basically everyone else, even my closest friends. But conversation does flow easier with them because we share interests and humor

Jan 16, 2020I had problems with my speech when I was younger so to fix that I would think about what to say and I’d continue to think about how I would say my next sentence. I still do it to this day and I’ve shared this advice to younger relatives and it’s helped them a lot also.
