it would be super cool to see in the future if he ever did. I was just thinking about it bc of Michael Jackson's HIStory tour.
does he have the audience to do a stadium in Korea? Would they enjoy his performance style? It would be interesting to see
I think about this question often. I used to live in China. This would be such a huge moment for his career and his global musical impact.
He also needs to do more concerts in South America and the Caribbean. Not just party and vaca there.
In one of his IG Lives during quarantine last year, I remember him saying that he really wants to go to India one day so that could be something?! He def has the fanbase for it.
His shows would need to be more theatrical for Asian audiences (ie lots of dancers, lights, pyrotechnics) but there’s an audience. He may need more collaborations with Asian artists to bridge that gap stronger.
closest he been to is Dubai and i think thats as far as he should go.
Maybe Hong Kong or something but only if K-Pop goons allow it.

Holy f*** If Drake even considers a concert run in the Caribbean

S*** would be legendary
It’s one of the biggest mysteries of his career… every time he announces a world tour I see mass complaints no South America, Asia, Africa, Caribbean etc.

He hasn't expanded in those areas. He sticks to his strongest markets which are North America/Canada/Europe/Oceania.
I doubt it man. His shows are way too simple for that. He relies way too much on people knowing the lyrics to songs and belting them back at him. He doesn’t do well at shows when people may not know what song he is playing or know most of the lyrics by heart. So he definitely won’t do well in places that don’t understand a lick of English let alone the lyrics to his songs.
It’s different with artists like MJ because his music transcends races and languages and he puts on amazing theoretical performances that make up for people not understanding him.
Sad to say Drake as a perform is really average in general. For a hip hop artist it’s great but as a music artist if you not that big of a fan of his it’s not anything to be amazed by at all.
It’s why he bombed at Coachella. Them hippy white people ain’t know his songs like that and all he was doing was jumping up and down trying to get them to yell his lyrics back to him with just trees and vines as stage eye candy.
