You're most likely talking about the overlap of classism and racism. Both can be causing problems for people at the same time.

There are problems that a lot of working class people deal with regardless of race. But that doesn't mean that people can't suffer from racism on top of that too, or be born into that position in the first place because of historical racism having an impact on their current situation.

My post isn't about paying or not paying reparations, it's about not ignoring problems.

I'm not from America. But in the UK, where I am from, we have done so many terrible things to other countries, especially during the Empire. We've done s*** to our own people as well, even as recently as the last few years that's disgusting (just look at Windrush scandal, and even austerity).

There's levels to what people do to change things. But I do think the very least people can do is not completely disregard and ignore those problems.
