you can forget about ever hearing any of the stuff he’s been working on, something like this changes a person and their entire mental

to answer the op, idk. I think he 1000% could, but i also think we’ll likely never see him again, let alone hear any music from him, for a long time. Maybe even ever, and I would completely understand (even though i also could not even begin to understand). It doesnt feel right to even talk about music right now

At the same time however, music can help heal the soul, so who knows. Everyone deals with this kind of s*** in their own way

  • I hope he finds a way to heal somehow, this is a completely devastating and life-changing situation and I can’t even begin to imagine how I would feel if that was my brother.

  • Frank & OPN could b crazy

I could see him dropping one more great album and then disappearing forever tbh.

Way too early to discuss music related content but without being insensitive or demanding I think I can say that the house & disco sound he was going for is probably scrapped. There’s no way we hear that.

We don’t know his healing process, some people may look to music to heal, others may just want to isolate themselves from life and spend time with their family. Frank is in a position to retire forever.

Artists have lost family members and have put out music because it was the only way to channel to their heartbreak. Sufjan Stevens & Phil Elverum both come to mind (considered by many to be their best work)

In my honest opinion, I think Frank will drop his Carrie & Lowell and peacefully walk away from the industry and live his life reclusively.

At this point, we can only hope and wish his well being along with his families. Extremely sad incident.

I don’t expect him to drop anything in the foreseeable future. Him losing Ryan is def something that he’s gonna need time with and even after that I honestly don’t see him dropping any full projects. I truly believe that he’s either gonna take the singles route from here on out or maybe retire from putting out music tbh.
