    Facts bro

Tbh I was thinking of investing in them as soon as I finish this quarantine Bulk and cut. Are there certain color ways for specs better than others?

Also how do they compare with Nudie?

@gesufaleg i completely agree with you on the APC jeans & the idea of what affordable & what’s not comes from privilege. What Rocket64 doesn’t realize is that 90% of consumers don’t use Grailed or any coupon store on the internet. They simply go to the brand’s website & purchase. And jeans on the APC store website are $200 or some s***

    APC >>> Nudie

In regards to colorway/wash all depends on your personal style/taste/wardrobe

True but just because some people aren’t smart shoppers and put zero effort in researching the best price doesn’t mean you can’t cop them at a reasonable price

I know 10+ people who own APC jeans and we’ve all copped them in the $7 to $45 price range from in-store outlets/sample sales, thrifting, and online marketplaces

Also I never used the term “affordable” I simply said that they’re “not that expensive” (when comparing the price to other designer name brand jeans)

    Thanks fam

    No problem bro!! ❤️

In regards on where to cop I suggest browsing Grailed, TheRealReal, and Depop to find the best deals (some listings are as low as $15)

If you're only planning on copping 1 pair just make sure to choose a colorway/wash that is the most versatile with your current wardrobe/outfits

APC jeans are prolly worth it just cause it’s a name brand but tf kind of jeans of any budget fall apart after 6 months. I used to do manual labor for years wearing mall wrangler jeans that cost 20 dollars and never had a tear or rip from just wearing them

Wrangler jeans are built for durability..

Most styled jeans are terrible quality and tend to go out of style every 1-2 years

Buying 1 APC new standard jeans that can last you for 4-5 years instead of cycling through s***ty jeans that never quite hit the mark is just being smart.

I mean if you don’t care about clothes then just buy some tan cargos and call it a day but if you do going cheap is not always going to be the best option

I can afford good jeans so I’m not talking about myself

Oh you can? Well then you can’t tell people what is and what isn’t affordable.

I think I can. I’ve been in a position of not being able to afford things like that and the whole “20$ jeans rip after 2 months” is bullshit too. Once again, privileged people who don’t even buy cheaper products pretending that’s the way it goes.

Assuming the average family is looking for stuff on grailed is another show of ignorance. It’s got nothing to do with being a smart shopper either.

Average family?! Aight lets step back. The normal person being able to afford the jeans would be their target market which is people with a full time job at least in their 20s. That’s pretty normal. Most people in that age range shop online they seen and use common apps like GOAT and Grailed. Most people care about making themselves look nice and they know better than to shop on official websites unless there is a sale. Idk if you are thinking back at a time before the internet where everyone didnt have the ability to make an extra 500 on the weekend by doordashing or something, but most NORMAL people arent going to think APC jeans are too expensive. Its just you. And ive been broker than you for most of my life. With my family living on loan sharks money. Having to eat out the trash broke. But at least im not b****made like you to fall back on calling anyone not acting like they were ever broke “too privileged to claim what is or isnt expensive”. No we are talking about price relative to the current market and how people make puchases TODAY. In the world of IG and twitter you cant act like grailed aint common knowlege to any normal person with a full time.

This dude using the term “average family” is so stupid and ignorant because I doubt soccer moms are going around saying “should I cop the whole fam APC or Acne Studios jeans 🧐”

For their target market audience $7-45 (or $180 for a brand new pair) is “not that expensive” (the specific APC demographic absolutely goes on Grailed and goes thrifting)

  • Sep 28, 2020

ITT we can all agree that $7,500 is a lot of money

But $7,500 for a brand new 2021 vehicle would be considered “not that expensive” and a steal deal considering the average price of a new car in the US is $37,851

So $200 retail for a new pair of quality name brand jeans is “not that expensive” in comparison to the average $1,000 price tag in the world of high end designer jeans (same mathematical ratio as the car)

Determining if an item is cheap or expensive all depends on what the item actually is and the relative market for it... Like $100 would be a super expensive price for candy 🍬 but the cheapest house ever 🏠

    Economics 101
