I guess, it was a nice one time listen to me, but I’ll never go back to it. I don’t imagine many people care about a retro Soul cosplay record to begin with. I’d rather listen to the legendary Soul artists they’re trying to sound like on this album.

yes they did. I remember my dad remarking to me in October that the album seemingly came and went when the album hadn't even dropped yet (this is when we thought it was dropping in Q1 2022! )

In a perfect world they release the album in July, with a new single out every two months after LTDO's March drop (Skate would drop in May, and Smokin' out in July one week before album drop)

that said, I'm great I'm glad they took their time to craft an impeccable album. thing literraly does not have any skips, and I think it was worth the wait

Not reception wise. Aside from Pitchfork, I think they got a pretty good reception.
