Most doomers I see are on the left being run by fear

So doomers = conspiracy theorists to you?

I was speaking of the people afraid of “white genocide” and “ethnic cleansing” type of conspiracy theorists. Also anti vaxx, micro chipping, and “deep state” s*** as if the president wouldn’t be involved.

but no, although a wide majority of conspiracies, especially today, have their roots in the far right, mostly ones concerning the "jewish question" which seem to dominate a lot of that field, not all "conspiracies" are like this and not all should be instantly dismissed

this video speaks about conspiracy and not so much conspiracy theories, which is what op is talking about

conspiracy theories are usually used as a mask or veil for people to hide a real truth behind, a truth that is unbearable for them to come to terms with. that is why conspiracy THEORIES are pointless and a waste of time

the next mistake comes when you call conspiracy theorists stupid for what they do, as then you are making the same mistake. there is no scale of stupid to smart in this instance, it’s just a recycling of one nonsense to the next as that’s all that is available to us. and that is more oftentimes than not the “unbearable truth” i previously spoke of

    Whats the truth

    it depends

here’s an example, the idea of the 1% controlling 40% of america’s wealth is something that cannot be ignored due to the fact that we are subtly reminded every day of what little control we have over our lives. The reality is that there is nothing we can do to change this, we just dont have access to the same power and decision-making capabilities that they do

This is a truth that many dont want to see, but they can’t ignore it like some other travesty that comes and goes, so they create a fantasy in their head. it might go something like, “there is a group of powerful people. they get together every so often in a private location, they wear masks and perform rituals, and decide how they will manipulate society next.”

long story short, after a series of events that follow you get the idea of the illuminati as a result

I didnt deny anything, my point here is that there might a political agenda in these theories...therefore they're not as objective either, feel me?

Pretty much, I’m really skeptical about any conspiracy theorists being fully sincere.

There’s always bias, and accordingly always a disconnect between X is outlandish but clearly true cos it suits me to believe it, Y is clearly false look how outlandish it is (it doesn’t suit me to believe it).

Such a good point bro. Lobbying is also a crazy example of this - people would rather sit there and claim to have knowledge of a secret cabal of lizard demons controlling the world from the shadows, than acknowledge the fact that corporate interests literally pressure politicians to do things in their favour quite openly

The way I see it is the power has got to trickle down to some point and in my opinion its very possible that there is a group of powerful people that get together every so often in a private location. we've seen evidence of masks and rituals, and it totally makes sense that they've been manipulating society.

But I respect your view. You've got to pick a point where enough is enough.

I admit that I don't know and i'll probably never know but I keep my mind open anyways.

Its obvious leaders have manipulated society for their benefit for as long as history goes back I don't see why it would stop modernly

like i said, i cant call you stupid for feeling that way - i would be implying i have access to some sort of knowledge that you dont as a result

also i should re-phrase something i previously said - i do firmly believe we have free will and choice in our lives (as much as many would like us to believe we don’t), i just see that said free will is clearly constricted due to the things previously mentioned

I feel like I know enough to be skeptical. but some people let that take them too far into the "rabbit hole"

of course, but the issue that arises when creating a fantasy such as “the illuminati” is that it pulls it away from reality, it becomes more of a “movie” rather than a real issue in real life. all it does is psychologically obfuscate (or add further confusion to) the situation

The US government created the AIDS virus to wipe out the gay community.

9/11 was definitely an inside job. Can’t deny that.

Ain't it the left who say the Jews run everything and always side with Palestine? I think both sides blame the Jews for everything

People wouldn't have to worry about conspiracy theories so goddamn much if they participated in the political process.

  • Apr 29, 2020

while alt right weirdos do seem to be more into it, there's been a concerted effort over the past few years to mislabel and discredit anybody who entertains the idea of conspiracy. Too bad because now conspiracy theory is seen as alt right bullshit when really a lot of the theories could be true and need an open minded investigation

If I told you forty years ago that the government was using hallucinogenic d**** to experiment with mind control over its citizens would you believe me or call me a nut job conspiracy theorist? Well later it was proven true, look up MK Ultra

If I told you three years ago that a very powerful man with ties to presidents, the richest men in the world, and the royal family is running a child prostitution ring and has his own island with occult symbols, would you believe it?

Conspiracy theories can sometimes be proven true. We shouldn't be so quick to politicize or dismiss them

Far right individuals just found out the world is truly f***ed recently with the Jeffery Epstein s***. They went from 0 to 60 in no time.

Remember when you just sat back on youtube exploring different theories, and you had time to digest what you were taking in? Things like JFK, Vietnam, 9/11, it was like training camp for the world's secrets. These boomers however just figured out that the top leaders of the world are indeed pedophile vampires with a completely different set of interests than the average human. Going that hard into the realities of the world drove a lot of these mfs crazy. Now they think someone named 'Q' is dropping dimes on Trump's plan to save us.
