I personally think that considering the meaning of the words and how they were/are used, it's different.

Cracker's original meaning is a white person whipping an African slave, while the meaning of "n*gger" ks universal, and applies to all black people.

In addition to their meaning, the words are also generally used in different contexts. "Cracker" is generally used in the context of when a white person is being racist, while "n*gger" is exclusively used to put down black people.

My personal opinion is that "cracker" can be used for white people who deserve it, since, as I said earlier in this post, it's not a universal term.

Examples of white people that do deserve to be called "cracker" on occasion would be people like Adolf Hitler, Stephen Miller, Adam22, Bill Clinton etc. White people like Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, Pau Gasol or Ernie Johnson should NOT be called crackers.

I also think that some non-whites deserve to be called "crackers", think of Candace Owens, Fulgencio Batista, Blaise Compaoré etc.

Tldr: I would say that the use of the word "cracker" is more - dare I say it - based on the content of ones character than "n*gger". And that makes it different.

    What do you guys think?

Let me know in the comment sxn below!
