i already do that i thought it was time for a change
Luckily, everyone is slurping down The Weeknd’s splooge so you got a couple options
Quite the contrary. The last project (BP) he dropped was a whole new concept.
GKMC - Growing up in the ghetto
TPAB - Black lives matter (in a nutshell)
DAMN - Religion, emotions & Damnation
Black Panther - Royalty, merit and what makes you royalty and what follows when you have it
TPAB is also fame, temptation, and blackness in general, and how all that overlaps

when is he gonna make something for the whites?

No I dislike both those artists. Replace them with Chris brown and maybe you got something

I mean there’s so much in his music that people from any background can enjoy if were being serious. Plus pretty sure a ton of white hiphop fans died and went to heaven with TPAB as well.

DAMN and GKMC are both albums that white people can vibe with?
The only album that was like 100% black when it comes to the message & concept was TPAB.
Im black and i grew up in the hood, also im spiritual so i can relate to most of the things Kendrick talks about.
Even TPAB has plenty of songs where the message applies to whites aswell.
J. Cole is the more white friendly version of Kendrick

Even if you’re the furthest thing from the subject matter on TPAB, that album still commands your attention

Chris Brown got hits on hits tbh

Yeah. If you’re a white kid from the suburbs you can’t relate to TPAB but you can definately appreciate it.
Art doesn’t have a color. TPAB for black people is ”he’s going through the same emotions and thoughts as me”. For white people ”i didn’t know this is what they go through”. TPAB tbh just a beautiful piece of art and very detailed.

like dead ass, is anyone actually saying anything these days
check out Anders, he’s one of the few vividly painting the experiences & struggles of Asian Americans/Canadians in a refreshing and unique perspective.

If you have empathy for other people, you can listen to someone crying out about it voicing their anger and frustration and connect w that as a person, or just use it as a learning experience... also TPAB has some f***ing stupid good jazz and other instrumentation

The production >>>>>
I knew TPAB was a classic the first time i listened to it. I had mixed feelings about it at first because it was too accurate and showed alot of the negative sides of being a black man in america but i was 17 when it came out. The more i grew with it the more i learned to appreciate it. I became more self aware and realized that i really am the stereotypical ignorant ”hood nigga” so i had to switch up. Now its one of my favourite albums ever.
