So for the past month or so I have been trying to figure out what kind of dog that I want, as well as get a good sense of how to train whatever dog I decide to get. I finally decided which breed I want to get (American Doberman) and I have been looking at various pet products to track costs and get a good sense of what would work best for a Doberman.
I've noticed this really odd trend with every f***ing dog product video that I have watched. Literally every single one of them has that dumbass music. You guys know exactly what I mean. That whistling, acoustic guitar/piano s*** that has clapping in the background . Literally what is the obsession with that s***? Like I get they're tryna make a point that pets are supposed to be fun but its so f***ing obnoxious and played the f*** out
Examples of what I mean:
Like damn nigga no one tryna listen to that s***. Whatever genre of music that is, it is the worst in the world
This in my opinion is by far the worst offender though (I tried to find the video on YT but couldn't so this the best I could do)
Scroll down to the product video to see what I mean. Straight up terrible.

Aye bro it’s okay to admit sometimes things are irritating for no reason.
You right though, this shouldn’t be as bothersome as it is.
When you watched about 4 hours worth of pet videos in the last 24 hrs tryna distinguish what is good and bad products, I think you’d be a little bent as well just saying

Why the f*** would you spend 4 hours of your time watching advertising

Bro I’m tryna figure out which ones are good homie. Like I gotta see what the product is and stuff. Like basically I’d look at the video, see if the ad did a good job explaining the use of it, and then go and watch a reviewer or some s***. This is my first dog so I want to make sure I do my due diligence prior to owning one and making sure it’s needs are met.
Dobermans are very needy lol. They require a lot of attention and care and have a lot of health requirements as well. So j wanna make sure I cover all the bases, from hygiene and food, to having toys and a pen for when I’m away at work so it doesn’t piss, s*** and make a mess everywhere, and everything else. Buying a jacket because they aren’t double coated and stuff.
When you do all of that in one sitting, that s*** gets to you lol. Like from the jump that s*** was irritating but I dismissed it, but looking at a ton of different products and seeing this annoying ass reoccurring repetitive played out trend got me irritated.
This is just how my brain works my g, I’m either obsessing over one specific task or I don’t do it lmaoo
Doberman is a beautiful breed
I love them bro. I never knew I wanted one until I stumbled across this guy’s YT channel and he does an amazing job of really breaking down the needs and expectations while also laying out his bias in a clear manner.
I knew I wanted a smart dog that was on the larger side. I thought maybe a Shiba at first but I think they are just a bit too standoffish for my taste and hard to train, especially as a new owner.
The more I looked into it, the more I felt like a Doberman (while a lot of work) would be the dog I’d want. Super in tune with your emotions, really smart, fast and agile learners. Beautiful as hell. A bit goofy. Like idk I don’t ever intend on having children so having a smart pet that basically fills that void is what I am looking for

I don't like marketing "pet" products in general, seems really slimy, the industry is f***ed imo.
Not even getting into sales incentives for live animals, that s*** is crazy, selling an animal to someone who cannot care for it, knowingly is incredibly f***ed.
Then selling products or marketing products that do not benefit the animal or could potentially do damage to them.
Not bueno, do not like, badbad not good

I agree. That’s my biggest gripe with tryna buy a dog. It’s insanely hard to determine. Blame it on capitalism tho tbh
