Mar 21he will probably go back to dropping an album like once every 5 years, and gracefully just take more of a backseat roll in Hip-Hop and let a new generation take over in a few years.
I can almost imagine there being some new up and coming massive westcoast rapper immerging in a few years. And we will get a recreation of when Snoop crowned Kendrick the new King of the Westcoast.
I imagine Kendrick will eventually do the same to a new artist eventually, and he will just be seen as legend to be respected. He'll retire his status as "The Current GOAT" before he is considered washed or old

It's not a mantle that was just placed on him by others because he dropped an amazing album, he has done things to embrace being seen as the saviour of hip-hop. The Heart Part 3 is talking about "Will you let hip-hop die on the day my album drops?". Hiiipower music video starts off by saying 2Pac visited him in a dream. "I made TPAB for you, to save mankind for you". The crown of thorns in MM&TBS marketing and live performances. Watch the Party Die
Hate the narrative that he doesn't want to be seen as this figure when he's actively done things to cause people to view him as this figure. And then MM&TBS comes across as him pointing the finger like "I never wanted this, y'all put this on me"

Ehh I don't really agree to this. I dont think that was meant to be taken as a sincere apology but more as a tongue in cheek response to Noname and people who agree with her pov. Throughout MMBS, he doesn't really take accountability for playing into the savior role aside from a few lines on Crown.

He doesn't acknowledge his own actions that I highlighted enough on the album imo. Think there's like a line or two on Crown but that's it. Album is supposed to be this breakthrough but even the fact that he brings up slavery as a potential explanation for his cheating just isn't enough accountability imo
I think 4:44 is a far better execution of a similar concept because Hov was brutally honest and vulnerable. Complete deconstruction of the powerful Hov figure we've come to know for almost 2 decades. Kendrick's attempt comes across like there's still some pride and not a complete acknowledgement of accountability.
The song you're quoting has some lines that come across as shade towards Noname for looking towards him in the first place when he's done all those things for people to look towards him. Ask yourself why J Cole and Kendrick felt the need to respond to her tweet and not other rappers, she mentioned no names (pun intended)
