Named after a gun you niggas can’t relate
Yo last name prolly smith acting like you hard cuz there’s a gun called a smith&wesson
I do remember once, going to this warehouse that sells african goods. And the cashier there was going on a rant about how people will pay for 23 and me or Ancestry to find out where they came from, his point was that you're literally giving your money to find out about history that was stolen from you.
He also said that if black people actually still had their african cultures intact, we wouldn't have as much violence and the gangs/drug trade in black communities wouldn't be as bad.
Man I do feel for a lot black people which really can’t track there ancestry
Saying that my home country was under occupation of ottoman rule for 400 years but I can say where I am from pretty accurately
It’s a pointless thing to fixate to me on so no OP I don’t. If you want to change it, you can right? If not, not worth fretting over.
i wouldn't say I was angry but I was shocked to hear my family name likely has a history of Slave trading and owning in the US.
Lol imagine your dad not being muslim so you BEEN gave up the white man's last name
j
Shout out all my poc with beautiful ethnic names that are true to their culture
Yo last name prolly smith acting like you hard cuz there’s a gun called a smith&wesson

I'd be even more upset if my first name was Tanner or Skylar with a black last name tbh
I didn’t like mine for the longest time it’s the Spanish town my great grandfather came from
