Back in 2018 when Jack was still relatively unknown he sounded so much like Drake at times that I thought he was gonna end up getting the Quintin treatment and get flown out to collab

    Really?

Yeah that Loose tape a few nice lil flows. At the time I could've seen him spending a weekend in the studio, bouncing some ideas around, and getting writing credits on a couple tracks.

Baxter avenue is literally a drake demo lol

But unlike some, I don’t feel like it’s a bad thing when you emulate someone or it’s clear where the inspiration comes from...if it’s good

    Everyone gains inspiration from somewhere

I’ve always thought he’s the closet thing Drake would ever need to keep an eye on in terms of taking over popularity.

Drizzy still has the looks over him tho if we are going by category.

The black co-signs also tell you Harlow is seen as for real.

This is gonna be more common as the years go by, all these kids who grew up listening and being influenced by Drake are entering the game

    All facts.

At one point I was trying to do it . Lol. Was studying it for a while when I did this years ago.

He’s still young. Give him a couple years. He’ll develop his own sound.

Baxter Ave beat kinda reminds of me first half of Final Fantasy
