My guess is that people are tired of signing up to new things and will only do it unless they themselves are interested, tied to the fact that it was easy logging into YouTube and just searching for his new podcasts.

i think its a mix of his spotify deal annoying long time fans, his thoughts on covid/masks & mainly the fact that he moved from LA. LA is where everyone is and so he could have way more big name entertainment guests. he'd have the non-entertainment world guests in la too but its more frequent now
